The Event, Create A Legacy!

Over the years I have noticed something, sadly,
missing from our culture. A pleasurable experience 
I enjoyed as a child, and implemented in my family
as an adult. What is it you might ask?

Thats simple! As day turns into evening and the
children return home, from their day at school, and
Dad comes home from work, the event was about
to unfold.

You know back then Mom, in typical fashion, was
home doing many tasks all day long including preparing
dinner. She made most everything from scratch, and did
it well. Of course many of those recipes were handed
down from Grandma, her mother.

There is nothing like walking into your home and smelling
the sweet aroma of a freshly cooked meal. The event, which
I'm sure by now you realize is dinner! The food was great
but my favorite part was sitting around the table enjoying the
fellowship, learning what everybody's day was like.

There are things in life worth doing, traditions worth passing
on to future generations. I strongly believe this is one of them.
Try it, you will like it, you will laugh, you will cry, it will bond
you together. Create a legacy you can be proud of, built on love!
